Is Brighton Marathon Hilly?
The course is a point to point race, starting out from Preston Park to the north of the town and finishing on Madeira Drive just beyond Brighton Pier on the sea front. It’s run on fully closed roads, mostly flat but there is a significant uphill at miles 1.5 – 2.0.

Brighton Marathon organisers have announced the 2021 race will now take place on September 12. The 2020 event was postponed earlier this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. ‘Since our decision to postpone the 2020 event in March, we have worked hard to try to find a way for us and other running events to return.
