Will Manchester Marathon 2020 be Cancelled?
Manchester Marathon has been cancelled for 2020, organisers have confirmed. The race was initially due to take place in April, but was postponed in March as concern grew about the spread of coronavirus. Now it will no longer go ahead on its rescheduled date of October 11.

The deferred place is only redeemable by the participant themselves and cannot be passed onto someone. To defer to the 2021 Manchester Marathon, simply follow the Transfer process specified above but select the 2021 event. This option will be available from August 2020.
