How do you transfer an Ironman race?
- The transfer option is available to North American IRONMAN (140.6) athletes only.
- Transfers are applicable to General Entry and IRONMAN Foundation entries.
- There is a $50 transfer fee.
- The event transferred into must be in the same calendar year as the original event year.
Can I withdraw from an Ironman?
Withdrawal requests must be received via withdrawal form during the following time frames in order to be eligible for a partial refund: until 4 months prior to race day: 50% refund of the entry fee. until 45 days prior to race day: 25% refund of the entry fee. after 45 days to race day: no refund.
Can I sell my Ironman entry?
Per USAT regulations, competing in a sanctioned event without properly registering and paying for your entry is strictly prohibited, which includes both selling an entry to another party or purchasing an entry through a third part.
How long does it take to recover from a triathlon?
As one of the shortest triathlon distances, recovering from a Sprint Distance Triathlon typically takes 7 to 10 days. Recovery from an Olympic Distance Triathlon will typically take 10 to 14 days. You can expect to be in recovery from an Ironman 70.3 Triathlon for 14 to 21 days post race.
