What is the purpose of Body Glide?
Body Glide products help prevent rubbing that causes irritation, rash, chafing, blisters and raw skin. They are non-oily, invisible and blend into your skin. They stand up to sweat, humidity and water, and your skin breathes even as perspiration escapes.
Where do you put Body Glide triathlon?
It is highly recommended to use an anti-chafing lubricant product such as Body Glide or Trislide. Apply the anti-chafe/lube product to neck, wrists and ankles. If using a sleeveless wetsuit, also apply lubricant around the arm holes on the wetsuit.
What is Glide for running?
Body Glide looks exactly like a deodorant stick, and it works the same way—you give the area a swipe or two, and you’re ready to go. The balm is moisturizing, thanks to the plant-based oils in it, but not greasy. There’s no mess at all, and it leaves your skin feeling smooth.
Is Body Glide a deodorant?
Body glide is NOT deodorant. It does not help with odor. It helps provide a kind of protective film in areas your chafe. If you’re using deodorant, apply it first and give it a chance to absorb before you apply Bodyglide.
Is Body Glide the same as Vaseline?
Vaseline does have a reputation for being a little greasy, so it can get a little messier than products like Body Glide, but some may actually prefer the greaser feeling for a softer and larger layer of protection. It could definitely get messy though, so be prepared for that.
What is in Body Glide?

How do you apply body glide?
How to Use. Before you get dressed apply directly, from the stick, to the thighs, neck, feet, arms or anywhere your skin is rubbed the wrong way. Apply to intact skin before activity or anytime. Washes off with mild soap.

How long does body glide last?
Body Glide is the most affordable anti-chafe-specific product on my list, and one stick lasts for a while. What I don’t like: In my experience, Body Glide loses its effectiveness somewhere between an hour and two hours of running, with humidity shortening the time frame.
